FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR - NORTH OF SCOTLAND, UK Our client is a renowned hotel nestled in the scenic landscapes of the North of Scotland, approximately 85 miles from Inverness. Known for its warm hospitality and stunning surroundings, this establishment offers a unique opportunity for dedicated professionals to thrive in a vibrant environment. The hotel prides itself on delivering exceptional guest experiences, making it an attractive workplace for those passionate about the hospitality industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily food and beverage operations within the restaurant, which caters for 40-50 covers
  • Assist with front-of-house duties, including welcoming guests, checking in and out residents, and ensuring excellent customer service
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service in the restaurant and communal areas
  • Support the team in delivering a seamless dining experience, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
  • Assist with staff training and development to uphold service standards
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise restaurant flow
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the hotel's reception and accommodation services

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Food & Beverage supervision or management within a busy hospitality environment
  • Hands-on approach with a 'can-do' attitude and a flexible, 'jack of all trades' mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
  • Experience with front-of-house operations, including guest check-in/out procedures
  • Relevant certifications such as Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene are desirable
  • A proactive team player with the ability to motivate and support colleagues

  • Relevant certifications such as Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene are desirable
  • A couple would be considered, with combined duties around the above tasks
