The food & beverage supervisor is a complex function requiring someone to coordinate and supervise multiple teams of associates in order for restaurant and banquet operations to be a success. As the Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will ensure ground level operations run smoothly.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and supervise multiple teams of associates for restaurant and banquet operations
Coordinate with Food & Beverage Manager on daily operations in the restaurant and banquets, including set-ups, changes and time schedules for all functions
Check room set-up to see that Banquet Event Order directions are completely followed
Ensure that all restaurant and public areas are neat and clean
Operate as a restaurant server when needed
setting up, greeting and serving the guest, and preparing the restaurant for the next shift
Inspect banquet areas at the end of the function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are clean
Requirements:
High school diploma
At least one year working in Food & Beverage
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Ability to communicate and coordinate associates in a positive and professional manner
Previous supervisory experience is highly desired
Must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
