We’re on the lookout for a Food & Beverage Supervisor with style, substance and serious hospitality instincts to join The Reach at Piccadilly – a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, which opened in July 2024, just moments from Manchester Piccadilly Station. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves being on the floor, knows how to read a room, and understands that great service should feel effortless, personal and memorable. You’ll be a key presence across our food and beverage operation, including Lock 84 — our ground floor restaurant that’s not your everyday hotel F&B. Think bold flavours, great drinks, genuine energy and a space that feels just as right for hotel guests as it does for locals. As a Marriott franchise hotel, we blend global brand standards with a strong independent spirit. You’ll help strike that balance every day — keeping things slick, but never scripted. This role includes duty management shifts, so hotel experience is highly desirable.
Job Responsibility:
Leading F&B shifts with confidence, warmth and attention to detail
Supervising service across Lock 84 and wider hotel outlets
Taking on duty management shifts, supporting the wider hotel operation when required
Being a visible, hands-on leader — always present, never stuck behind a desk
Setting the tone for service: relaxed, polished and guest-led
Coaching and motivating the team to bring personality into every interaction
Handling guest feedback with ease, empathy and professionalism
Supporting stock control, cash handling and daily operational admin
Working closely with management on events, activations and evolving the offer
Requirements:
Previous experience in a food & beverage supervisory role
Hotel experience preferred, with confidence stepping into duty management
A natural people-leader who builds trust and energy on the floor
Strong food and drink knowledge — curiosity and passion matter most
A calm, organised approach in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and genuine guest focus
Someone who gets boutique hospitality — quality without pretence
