The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for a variety of tasks, including scheduling shifts, seating customers, and caring for staff members. They provide excellent customer service and ensures that the overall operation of the workplace runs smoothly. In their day-to-day work, they assist customers and help restaurant staff with operations. They connect with kitchen staff and the Restaurant Managers to ensure all food and materials are available. They also oversee reservations management.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain an active presence on the floor and pool deck, assisting guests, supporting team members, and ensuring smooth service flow
Support and guide servers, bartenders, runners, hosts and pool attendants with daily tasks and guest interactions
Assist with training new team members on service standards, policies, and procedures
Lead daily pre-shift meetings and communicate relevant information regarding specials, events, or service updates
Support management with handling guest concerns and resolving service-related issues promptly and professionally
Monitor restaurant/pool cleanliness and presentation standards, including dining room, service stations, and host stand
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines
Verify that side work, opening procedures, and closing procedures are completed accurately by the team
Assist with inventory counts, restocking, and maintaining supplies needed for daily service
Support scheduling coverage by communicating staffing needs or call-outs to management
Accurately complete shift-related paperwork and reports as assigned
Ensure adherence to Sunseeker service standards and promote a positive team environment
Collaborate with kitchen leadership to ensure accurate food running, ticket times, and communication
Promote upselling and product knowledge among team members
Observe team performance and provide on-the-spot coaching
elevate performance issues to management when necessary
Maintain safety and security procedures for guests and team members
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the management team
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in Food & Beverage, preferably in a supervisory or lead role
Strong customer service skills in a high-volume environment, previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment
Knowledge of restaurant operations and food safety standards
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
Familiarity with POS systems and basic reporting
Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS applications
