Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate Food & Beverage Service Expert Shift Leader to join our wonderful team at London Marriott Hotel County Hall and our awarded Gillray’s Steakhouse & Bar. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional food and beverage services to guests, ensuring memorable experiences through professional menu knowledge, efficient service, and team support.

Job Responsibility:

Menu knowledge is essential
Recommend and “sell” menu items using suggestive and up-selling techniques in a professional manner
Ensure food and drinks are served in a consistent manner
Follow the clearing procedure and ensure rooms are cleared after each shift
Support in leading the team shift operations

Menu knowledge is essential
To be able to recommend and to “sell” menu items using suggestive and up-selling techniques in a professional manner
To ensure that food and drinks are served in a consistent manner, in line with standard presentation for food and drinks
To follow the clearing procedure and ensure all room are cleared after each shift
To support in leading the team shift operations
A warm, people-oriented demeanor
A team-player attitude
A safety-first approach
Positive outlook and dependability
Ability to move and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs
Ability to reach overhead and below your knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping
Ability to move over uneven or sloping surfaces
Completion of required safety training and certification prior to employment
