Job Responsibility:

  • Delight guests by offering vivid and engaging descriptions of our menu items, emphasizing the origin, fresh island ingredients, and artisanal preparation methods that reflect the Seychelles culinary heritage
  • Accurately enter guest orders, including any dietary preferences or special requests, into the resort’s point-of-sales (POS) system, ensuring flawless communication with the kitchen team
  • Coordinate food timings to ensure all courses are served seamlessly and maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation
  • Confirm that kitchen orders match the guest’s original request before delivering, ensuring precision and guest satisfaction
  • Serve food and beverages promptly with a warm, hospitable approach that reflects Four Seasons’ renowned service standards
  • Anticipate guest needs with genuine care, offering personalized menu suggestions that highlight local flavors and signature dishes
  • Proactively engage with guests to confirm satisfaction and respond swiftly and thoughtfully to any concerns or special requests
  • Efficiently and accurately close guest checks, handling cash and credit card payments in accordance with Four Seasons Resort Seychelles’ policies
  • Manage voided checks and complimentary meals with integrity and adherence to resort procedures
  • Assist with the meticulous setup, cleaning, and resetting of tables, buffets, and food stations to maintain the resort’s impeccable standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Adhere strictly to Four Seasons Resort Seychelles’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in the company’s Impact program, ensuring a safe and respectful workplace
  • Foster a harmonious and professional working relationship with colleagues and supervisors, contributing positively to the collaborative team environment that defines Four Seasons
  • Contribute ideas for improving guest service, productivity, and departmental processes with management approval
  • Ensure proper control and minimize waste, misuse, and breakage of supplies and equipment
