Job Description:

Serve food and beverages to guests, maintain service standards, ensure guest satisfaction, and contribute to the welcoming environment at Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.

Job Responsibility:

Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages
set tables according to event and standards
answer questions on menu selections
communicate menu questions, wait times, and special requests to the kitchen
record transactions in MICROS
check in with guests for satisfaction
maintain cleanliness
complete closing duties like restocking items and turning off lights
ensure a professional appearance
develop positive working relationships
ensure adherence to quality standards.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds with assistance
clear communication skills
ability to follow quality expectations and safety standards.
