Senior Food & Beverage Team Leader role supporting Deputy & Assistant Managers in a busy Inn. A hands-on role leading the front of house team to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and supervise front of house team across bar, lounge, restaurant and terrace to ensure exceptional service
Oversee the full-service cycle and guest journey
Work closely with assistant managers to coordinate daily operations
Provide the kitchen team with guest pre orders
Provide ongoing training and support during shift
Ensure team members are knowledgeable and uphold brand standards
Ensure guest expectations are met and address complaints in a timely manner
Assist in planning and execution of events
Engage with guests regularly gathering feedback
Provide team with performance feedback when required
Requirements:
Passionate about delivering a high standard of guest service
Proactive to ensure the smooth running of your department and team
Comfortable with a hands-on role, rolling up sleeves and getting involved with service
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, staying calm under pressure while leading a team
Previous experience working within a busy, food-led operation
Proven experience of leading a team or management experience, preferably in hospitality, food and beverage, or guest service environment
Strong interpersonal skills, able to connect and motivate a team
Experience of handling guest complaints and operational challenges is desirable
Solid background in customer service, delivering a high standard to exceed expectations
Flexible with working times as business is open all day every day
