The Baccarat Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our prestigious team. This position supervises 40+ employees in the Restaurant/Bar and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these employees within the department. The Restaurant/bar Manager carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements

  • Three years Food & Beverage management in luxury world class hotel
  • Three years technical Food & Beverage experience and/or equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Previous employee management in Local 6 union environment
  • Primary quality detailed service ethic
  • Strong interpersonal staff and guest relations
  • Team minded approach to fellow workers
  • Ability to apply commons sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
