The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, execution, and financial performance of all food and beverage operations at Winnetka Golf Club, overseeing daily service, kitchen coordination, bar operations, events, and seasonal programming while maintaining high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:
Develop the annual food and beverage budget and operating plan
Plan and implement staffing schedules
Ensure maintenance of all appropriate sanitation standards
Establish and implement a cleaning and preventative maintenance program
Implement and monitor the purchase ordering and receiving program
Monitor internal cost controls for the department
Sell food and beverage services to potential outing clients/members
Ensure compliance with operating guidelines related to the R.A.M. or Tips programs
Manage employment activities for applicable staff members
Maintain knowledge of current and projected industry developments
Assure the efficient and timely submission of all required operational, financial, budgetary and related reports
Perform other duties as appropriate
Requirements:
College degree preferred
5 years applicable functional, supervisory and/or management experience, preferably in the golf industry
Demonstrated experience and capability in the areas of budget development, fiscal management, strategic planning, staff management
Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to analyze and solve problems
efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision
work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends
Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations
