A leading hospitality and entertainment destination in the Catskills region is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join its leadership team. This role requires a Cantonese-speaking hospitality leader with strong operational experience in restaurant management, team leadership, and guest service within a high-volume environment. The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee daily restaurant operations, support staff development, ensure service excellence, and drive financial performance across the operation.
Job Responsibility:

Serve as a role model for employees and junior managers
Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop team members while fostering a positive and engaging work environment
Partner with leadership to determine appropriate staffing levels and scheduling strategies
Build strong, respectful relationships with team members and create an environment where employees feel comfortable and motivated
Take an active role in developing repeat diners and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction
Champion a service philosophy focused on doing whatever is necessary to ensure every guest returns
Communicate positively about the restaurant operations and foster an environment of success
Identify and implement strategies to increase guest counts and improve the overall dining experience
Maintain awareness of daily operations and proactively manage floor presence throughout each shift
Monitor staffing trends, seasonal fluctuations, and upcoming business changes
Manage all cost centers with the goal of maximizing sales and optimizing profitability
Track operational performance against budget targets and understand key drivers of financial results
Ensure proper execution of opening and closing procedures and operational reporting
Maintain high standards of safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and organization throughout operations
Ensure the restaurant environment—including lighting, temperature, music levels, and overall ambiance—meets quality standards
Ensure food and beverage quality is maintained and products are ready for service during each shift
Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout all areas during operations
Requirements:
Fluency in Cantonese required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
Experience managing restaurant operations in a high-volume hospitality environment
Working knowledge of POS systems and operational reporting
Operational Proficiency: Opening and closing procedures
Running operational reports
Food and beverage knowledge
