Job Description:

This 12–18‑month rotational program offers Lanaʻi residents a structured pathway to develop leadership capabilities within Four Seasons. Participants gain hands‑on operational experience in Food & Beverage, with rotational exposure across Restaurants, Pool & Beach, In‑Room Dining, Banquets, and/or Stewarding. The program emphasizes experiential learning, mentorship, and performance feedback to support long‑term career growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support leadership with daily Food & Beverage operations while maintaining a strong, visible presence on the floor
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences by upholding service standards and addressing guest feedback, concerns, and special requests
  • Build and maintain relationships with both repeat and new guests to drive satisfaction and loyalty
  • Monitor facility and equipment conditions
  • recommend enhancements as needed
  • Partner with Culinary and Front-of-House leadership on menu updates and special offerings
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all health, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Attend, participate in, and occasionally lead meetings, training sessions, and daily pre-shift briefings
  • Support onboarding by ensuring new hires are properly trained and entered into payroll systems per training guidelines
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance updates to service staff and management
  • Facilitate clear communication between Front- and Back-of-House teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings to promote collaboration and operational alignment
  • Learn and consistently apply service and cultural standards while demonstrating strong knowledge of hotel products and services
  • Develop skills in labor management and cost control through scheduling, budgeting, inventory, purchasing, and operational efficiencies

Requirements:

  • Legal work authorization in United States
  • Hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need, holidays and weekends availability is required
  • Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
  • Hawaii Food Handler's Card and Hawaii Maui County liquor card is required for this role
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
