The aim of these internships is to foster students’ professional development and understanding of the world of Hospitality. The intern will have a good exposure to hotel operations and will receive guidance on career planning throughout the internship. We provide each intern with valuable experiences in the field of hospitality, including networking opportunities, and hands-on experience which will prepare the intern to successfully enter the workforce in the future. The intern will also learn how to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced global environment.
Job Responsibility
Providing a service to guests experiencing the restaurants, bars or pool areas
Serving meals, assisting with queries and providing correct information
Accepting and recording guest orders whilst at the same time assisting with any questions regarding food & beverage preparation
Receiving and carrying out orders from supervisors
Interacting in a courteous and professional manner with guests whilst adhering to the hotel standards
The most promising interns will also be entrusted with supervisory duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
Currently following a Diploma /Degree in a Hospitality Management School or equivalent
Positive attitude and passion for the hospitality industry
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Fluency in spoken English
Good team player
Ideally, interns need to be available for a minimum of four to five months, during the months of May and October, earlier starting dates and later end dates can be discussed.
