Job Description:

The Food & Beverage Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests, seating them, ensuring cleanliness of tables and menus, monitoring dining rooms for safety and service standards, and maintaining a professional appearance. The position requires physical tasks such as lifting and moving objects up to 10 pounds. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, but no related work or supervisory experience is needed.

Job Responsibility:

Greet guests and determine the number in their party
seat guests and organize tables for groups with special needs
maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
monitor dining rooms for seating availability, guest service, and safety
follow company safety and security policies and procedures
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no related work experience
no supervisory experience
uniform and personal appearance must be clean and professional
must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
