Job Description:

Food & Beverage Executive position at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa responsible for banquet operations, staff supervision, and ensuring optimal guest service experience.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service
Inspect grooming and attire of staff and rectify deficiencies
Complete opening and closing duties including setting up supplies
Inspect storage areas for organization and cleanliness
Complete scheduled inventories and stock necessary supplies
Monitor dining rooms for seating availability and guest well-being
Complete work orders for maintenance repairs
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating employees
Serve as role model and first point of contact for Open Door Policy
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Identify and implement ways to increase organizational efficiency and quality

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 2 years of related work experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
Ability to inspect grooming and attire of staff
Ability to complete opening and closing duties
Knowledge of FIFO inventory management
Ability to monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety
Ability to complete work orders for maintenance repairs
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Ability to move up and down stairs and service ramps
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, stooping
