Job Description

Combine your passion for customer service and culinary skills as a Food & Beverage Employee at the Moxy & Residence Inn Houthavens Amsterdam, part of Marriott Hotels & Resorts. In this dynamic role, you will not only provide excellent service in our F&B areas but also show off your kitchen talents by preparing simple yet delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Job Responsibility

  • Work in the day-to-day operations of the bar & restaurant to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, standards and aiming at satisfying and exceeding our guest’s expectations
  • Taking, preparing, and serving orders varying from cocktails, coffees to dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and according to our hotel standards
  • Making sure that all servicing & kitchen equipment are clean, well maintained and meet all hygiene, health and safety regulations paying special attention to possible health hazards and code violations
  • Maintain cleanliness of the fridges, dishes and overall bar and restaurant furniture
  • Collaborate with front office to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food & beverage service is preferred
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Dutch is an advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving ability and stress resistance
  • Proactive attitude and team spirit
  • Passion for hospitality and service
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends & holidays
