Food & Beverage Attendant

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in the pool area tables and sun lounges
• Clear tables and sun lounges once customers have finished eating/drinking
• Answer questions on menu selections
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
• Record transactions in MICROS system at the time of order
• Check-in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day including the bar, the tables, and sun lounges around the pool
• Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
• Present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payments
• Collect unused towels from the sun lounges and around the pool
• Re-stock towel towers and take soiled towels to the laundry
• Ensure efficient, friendly, and professional service is provided to all guests
• Warmly welcome & serve our guests
• Be an expert on the hotel, know it inside and out to ensure our guests receive a dynamic service experience
• Meet & connect with our guests and give them an experience beyond their expectations
• Assisting all guests with menu, dietary requirements, and recommendations
• Ensuring accuracy with requests, orders, and service delivery
• Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
• Ensuring all service areas are immaculate
• Promoting safety and supporting WHS practices

• Previous experience in food & beverage service is a big plus
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card (RSA)
• Has a positive, can-do attitude
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
• Beverage knowledge desirable
