As the Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of different Edge & Nuna Restaurant Operations. This includes ensuring safety standards are met, overseeing staff, maintaining equipment, managing schedules, and developing engaging recreational activities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for customer service and recreational management.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
Supervise and support front-of-house and back-of-house staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards
Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching to maintain high levels of productivity and guest satisfaction
Manage inventory, ordering, and control costs to maximize profitability
Resolve customer issues and ensure a positive dining experience
Oversee the operation and maintenance of the pool, recreational areas, and related facilities
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all pool and recreation users
Supervise and train pool attendants, and other recreational staff
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including water quality standards, safety equipment, and emergency protocols
Manage pool scheduling for private events, group lessons, recreational programs, etc.
Plan, organize, and lead recreational programs, events, and activities for guests or residents
Monitor and manage budgets for pool and recreation operations, including staffing and supplies
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
Collaborate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage) to ensure a seamless guest experience
Requirements:
Proven experience as a restaurant assistant manager or similar role in hospitality environment
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry
Knowledge of restaurant operations and familiarity with POS systems
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
US work authorization is required
