The ideal candidate must be able to help plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the Banquet Department while ensuring guest satisfaction. Home position will be Banquets, however this position will also float between other outlets and provide general assistance to the F&B Division. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate who is ready to partner with the Food & Beverage and Sales & Catering teams to create and produce the best overall banquets experience for our guests.
Job Responsibility:
Help plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the Banquet Department while ensuring guest satisfaction
Float between other outlets and provide general assistance to the F&B Division
Partner with the Food & Beverage and Sales & Catering teams to create and produce the best overall banquets experience for our guests
Assist the Food & Beverage Manager and other F&B operational leaders in managing the Banquet operation
Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met
daily activities and planning for the Banquet operation
Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts
Handle all guest requests with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
resolve guest complaints
assist guests in all inquiries in connection with resort services
Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments
Work courteously and professionally with colleagues and other departments, including Conference Services and Culinary teams
Requirements:
Previous supervisory/management experience in Food and Beverage is preferred
Hospitality spirit to connect with guests
Friendly and Calm Demeanor
Previous experience in Food and Beverage roles and employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset
Strong communication skills
Authorization to live and work in Anguilla
