Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hospitality and Catering executive to oversee our food service operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan and manage food menus for VIP guests, ensuring proper delivery of services
  • Oversee daily activities related to catering, cleaning, and housekeeping
  • Develop and plan weekly menus for the cafeteria, considering nutritional balance and variety
  • Regularly inspect kitchen equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of raw food and ingredients
  • Conduct taste tests of food and beverages before serving to maintain quality standards
  • Manage canteen vendors, including contract negotiations and performance evaluations
  • Implement and maintain a system to monitor expiration dates of food materials
  • Record and track garbage disposal trips to ensure proper waste management
  • Develop and implement effective waste food management strategies
  • Monitor and maintain the gas bank, ensuring safety and efficiency
  • Handle guest complaints promptly and effectively, providing satisfactory resolutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field is preferable
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service management or similar role
  • Team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service industry
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in relevant computer software for inventory and menu management
