We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hospitality and Catering executive to oversee our food service operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Job Responsibility:
Plan and manage food menus for VIP guests, ensuring proper delivery of services
Oversee daily activities related to catering, cleaning, and housekeeping
Develop and plan weekly menus for the cafeteria, considering nutritional balance and variety
Regularly inspect kitchen equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance
Monitor and evaluate the quality of raw food and ingredients
Conduct taste tests of food and beverages before serving to maintain quality standards
Manage canteen vendors, including contract negotiations and performance evaluations
Implement and maintain a system to monitor expiration dates of food materials
Record and track garbage disposal trips to ensure proper waste management
Develop and implement effective waste food management strategies
Monitor and maintain the gas bank, ensuring safety and efficiency
Handle guest complaints promptly and effectively, providing satisfactory resolutions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field is preferable
Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service management or similar role
Team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service industry
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in relevant computer software for inventory and menu management
