Job Description

The Food and Beverage Manager -Training is responsible for leading all training, learning, and brand standards implementation for Sheraton’s Food & Beverage operations. This role focuses on developing associates’ capabilities, ensuring consistent delivery of Sheraton brand standards, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and service excellence. The position works closely with the F&B Operations Manager to support performance improvement through structured training, coaching, and development initiatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead all Food & Beverage training programs across the property
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate training sessions (classroom, on-the-job, and digital)
  • Conduct training needs analysis and develop structured learning plans
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new F&B associates
  • Ensure all associates complete mandatory training and certification programs
  • Maintain accurate training records, reports, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure consistent application of Sheraton brand standards across all F&B outlets
  • Conduct regular audits, observations, and evaluations to monitor service quality
  • Coach associates on brand standards, service culture, and grooming expectations
  • Partner with operations teams to address gaps in service delivery
  • Reinforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices
  • Provide day-to-day coaching and mentoring to F&B associates and supervisors
  • Support the development of skills, product knowledge, and service techniques
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement, engagement, and learning

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or training-related roles
  • Degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
  • Prior experience in training, coaching, or learning & development (strongly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations and Sheraton brand standards
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to influence, engage, and develop others
  • Good understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
