Job Description:

The Food and Beverage Supervisor position is responsible for supporting all front of house food and beverage operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling of staff
  • Directly managing staff while having direct interaction with customers
  • Maintain and control high volume food and beverage inventory
  • Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate procedures
  • Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures are documented and enforced
  • Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures
  • Conduct physical audit of inventory and product
  • Research and perform reconciliations
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws
  • Responsibilities can include interviewing, hiring, and training employees
  • planning, assigning, and directing work
  • appraising performance
  • rewarding and disciplining employees
  • addressing complaints and resolving problems

Requirements:

  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to obtain a Winstar Vendor Gaming badge
  • Strong attention to detail and extremely organized with elevated time management and prioritizing skills
  • Must meet state and city health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service
  • Must be able to work fluently in English
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds up and down stairs/ramps
  • Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred
  • 1 year experience in a fast paced, team orientated setting
  • 1 year of team management experience required-PTO, Attendance, Schedules, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Employee Development
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in both English and Spanish
  • Professional appearance and manner required
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such fractions, percentages, and ratios
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other related programs
