As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our food and beverage outlets. You will lead and motivate your team to deliver outstanding service, maintain quality standards, and contribute to the overall guest satisfaction at our hotel. Job Responsibility:
Supervise daily operations of food and beverage outlets, ensuring excellent service standards are consistently met
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of food and beverage staff to maximise performance and maintain high morale
Assist in scheduling staff rotas to ensure adequate cover during peak and off-peak times
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in line with company policies and legal requirements
Support the management team in managing stock levels, minimising waste, and controlling costs
Handle guest enquiries and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally to ensure a positive guest experience
Contribute to the implementation of promotional activities and special events within the food and beverage department
Ensure accurate cash handling procedures and assist with daily financial reconciliations
Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Participate in regular training and development sessions to stay updated on industry trends and company standards
Requirements:
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within the catering and hospitality industry is essential
Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service standards, health & safety, and hygiene regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team
Good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Basic numeracy skills and experience handling cash and financial reconciliations
A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding guest service
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required
Relevant food hygiene certification or willingness to obtain one
