Job Description

Join TUI Hotels & Resorts as Food and Beverage Manager in our TUI BLUE Kalamota Island Resort, Koločep, Croatia. You will be responsible for leading and managing the overall Food & Beverage operations, ensuring excellent service quality, operational efficiency, and high levels of guest satisfaction across all outlets. You will oversee restaurant and bar teams, manage staffing and cost control, monitor service and product standards, and work closely with the kitchen and other departments to deliver an exceptional dining and beverage experience in line with TUI standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Leads and oversees the Food & Beverage department, coordinating the activities of all sub-departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Accountable for the financial performance of restaurants and bars, maintaining service quality while effectively managing departmental costs
  • Plans and supervises employee work schedules, ensuring optimal staffing levels and efficient labor cost control
  • Monitors and controls departmental expenses across kitchen, restaurant, and bar outlets in line with the approved budget
  • Ensures full compliance with departmental procedures and is responsible for their consistent implementation by all F&B team members
  • Collaborates with kitchen, restaurant, and bar managers to prepare proposals and contribute to the development of the department’s annual business plan

Requirements

  • High school diploma/University degree (SSS/VSS)
  • Minimum of three years managerial experience in the same position in high-category hotels
  • Excellent command of at least two foreign languages, both spoken and written (English and German preferred)
  • Outstanding communication skills, composure, and experience in professionally resolving conflict situations
  • Experience in team management
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • All applicants must be fluent in both English and Croatian
  • Due to work permit restrictions, applicants must be from a European Union country
