Cambria Hotel Midtown Nashville is seeking a food and beverage Manager to join our dynamic and enthusiastic team. Located in the heart of music city, this boutique hotel features 159 guest rooms, 2 F&B outlets including The Rux rooftop and Church and State Lobby bar along with over 3,000 sq ft of flexible meeting space. As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will help elevate our intended inspired guest experience by providing leadership to our front of house teams, activating our outlets, supporting growing hospitality professionals and cultivating your own professional development. Cambria’s Food and Beverage Manager is a team player that works with our operations team to provide the best professional, competent and prompt service to our guests and our client partners. They are supportive and hands-on, to drive the front of house team and ensure that all guests are beyond satisfied.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the front-of-house operations for The Rux Rooftop and Church & State
Lead the operational efforts of the bar and lounge teams
Actively engage with the bar team and guests
Assist in the completion of F&B orders in the absence of the Executive Chef
Manage inventory monthly & places weekly bar orders
Weekly attendance at BEO meetings and other leadership meetings as needed
Oversight and execution of all bar related banquets events and other banquet events as assigned
Provide training, direction, supervision, and hands-on support for direct associates and supervisors to accomplish goals and objectives of the food and beverage operation
Ensure, direct and facilitate communication, engagement and conflict resolutions as needed by the team to ensure a positive associate environment
Partner with our Sales team to execute robust and engaging events as well as improve brand recognition
Requirements:
High School Diploma/ GED, post high school education degree preferred but not required
Minimum of two years food & beverage supervisory experience
Ability to communicate effectively verbally
Strong leadership skills
Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
Excellent time management skills
Knowledge of three meal restaurants preferred
Knowledge of Hotel food and beverage operations and room service preferred
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including PM's, weekends and holidays
