Job Description:

This role involves supporting food and beverage operations at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and professional service, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, cleaning equipment and areas, and locking refrigerators
set up, stock, and maintain work areas
ensure cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver
follow company safety and security policies
assist in maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets
welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
develop and maintain positive working relationships
ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds
ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and up and down stairs or service ramps
ability to maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance
strong communication skills to speak with others in a clear and professional language.
