We’re now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Food and Beverage Team Member - Bank at The Hawthorns Eastbourne in Eastbourne.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals
  • Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining
  • Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures
  • Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day
  • Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options
  • Being aware of resident’s dietary requirements

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene
  • Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents
  • Have experience of working in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel would be desirable
  • A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial
