Food and Beverage Assistant

• Assist with the set-up and breakdown of banquet spaces for meetings and events, ensuring adherence to high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Work collaboratively with the catering team to deliver exceptional service to event attendees
• Welcome guests warmly and professionally
• Upsell menu items and beverages where appropriate
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless and efficient service experience for all events
• Learn and adhere to the hotel's food and beverage service standards and menu knowledge
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all service areas
• Participate in ongoing training programs to develop your skills and knowledge

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a food and beverage service role, preferably within a hotel setting
• Availability to work full time hours
• Proficient in bartending & preparing drinks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a dedication to exceeding guest expectations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• A flexible approach to scheduling, including evenings and weekends
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures is a plus
