Job Description

We're looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join the team at Hotel Indigo Durham on a 3 months fixed term contract.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure that guests have a positive, first class dining experience
  • Greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and handle payments
  • Maintain a clean and organised dining area, restock supplies, and assist with food preparation as needed
  • Work agilely to support the rest of the wider business
  • Work with Aimbridge’s four pillars of Food and Beverage in mind: People, Product, Guest, Performance.

Requirements

  • Food and Beverage experience isn't essential for this role, but to be successful, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent service to guests, being agile in your ability to support colleagues across the hotel
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organised dining area
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
