Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Front of House Assistant to join our team. As the face of our takeaway and café area, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and creating a warm, welcoming experience for every visitor. Working as part of a supportive team in our vibrant Takeaway, you will help ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and service.

Job Responsibility

  • Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly, welcoming experience
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens
  • Handle customer payments with care and accuracy
  • Resolve customer concerns politely and professionally
  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to company standards
  • Serve food items in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Restock and rotate stock, minimizing waste
  • Maintain cleanliness of all takeaway areas, including counters, equipment, indoor seating areas, and outdoor seating spaces
  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including completing daily HACCP checks
  • Work collaboratively with all team members across all departments
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and managers
  • Support smooth daily operations during busy periods
