Job Description

We are searching for participants for a 1-day mock trial focus group. You will be responsible for watching and answering questions throughout the virtual mock trial. To be considered you must have a personal laptop, reside in Onondaga County, and be available on April 3rd 2026 virtually to participate.

Job Responsibility

  • During the focus group, 2-3 sets of questions will appear on the screen
  • Provide written answers to all questions, either handwritten or typed
  • Submit your completed answers via email immediately after the session to qualify for payment
  • Participate in a brief 5‑minute Zoom tech check prior to the group, where instructions will be reviewed
  • Provide responses that typically consist of 2-3 sentences or yes/no answers, depending on the question

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older to participate
  • Must be a resident of Onondaga County
  • Have your own personal laptop, computer, or tablet
  • Ability to attend the full focus group session and the brief tech check
  • Comfortable being recorded for research purposes
