Job Responsibility

  • Facilitate FMEA deployment cross-functionally and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Enable robust product and process design by ensuring critical failures are identified, eliminated and controlled at any stage
  • Moderate FMEA workshops and act as mentor for our cross-functional community
  • Continuous improvement of the product development process and adjacent processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree (or equivalent) in the field of Mechanical-/ Electrical Engineering
  • Additional certifications in Six Sigma, APQP or similar are a plus
  • Proven experience (min. 5 years) as quality, design or manufacturing engineer (or similar) in automotive, aerospace, medical or any other highly mature industrial sector
  • Profound experience in applying the FMEA methodology in process (P-FMEA) and/or design (D-FMEA) scope according to APQP, AIAG/VDA or similar
  • Familiar with the application of corresponding methods and tools like boundary diagrams, P-diagrams, flow charts, validation plans, measurement system analysis, statistical process controls, etc.
  • Solid knowledge in industry standard FMEA software (like APIS, PLATO or similar) and statistical software (like Minitab or JUMP)
  • Ability to work on all organizational levels in a constantly changing environment: structured and highly organized team-player
  • English spoken and written fluently is mandatory
  • In addition, speak German or Spanish
  • Creative, humorous, and convincing manners: like working with people across different cultures.

  • Additional certifications in Six Sigma, APQP or similar
  • Speaking German or Spanish
