Join the Wing Mechanical Systems Installation (MSI) Engineering Design Team in Filton. As part of a transnational team with a presence in Filton, Broughton, Wichita and India, you will challenge conventional thinking to ensure Airbus manufactures the world’s best aircraft.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contribute to the 'end to end' design process, managing conceptual design, modification processes, and support to manufacturing sites
  • Design and validate MSI components and assemblies using appropriate design tools, optimising for weight, cost, performance, and safety
  • Deliver the Definition Dossier for Manufacturing and Assembly and enable technical studies to ensure the delivery of solutions in accordance with Design Methods
  • Manage the introduction of new modifications and collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to resolve aircraft delivery blockers

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to gain BPSS check (including a criminal record check)
  • Competency in the use of Catia V5
  • Experience in Mechanical Systems Installation (MSI) design, specifically regarding fuel, hydraulics or pneumatic systems
  • Experience with design configuration toolsets such as PASS, DPDS, VPM, or ICC/ACP
