Job Description:

We are currently looking for an experienced FLT Driver to join Cargill Bioindustrial in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and reputable company known for its commitment to safety, innovation, and sustainability. To provide comprehensive forklift and site support services across the Cargill Bioindustrial facility in Hull, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely handling of materials, waste, and deliveries. This role plays an important part in maintaining operational flow and supporting various departments including Stores, Maintenance, Production, and Labs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform daily FLT safety checks and ensure compliance with site safety standards
  • Carry out general FLT duties as required across the site
  • Manage 1100L bins for waste collection
  • Tip waste skips daily
  • Remove zinc bags daily
  • Collect and load waste pallets for resale
  • Remove Palladium waste from the Hydrogen area
  • Support waste RM handling
  • Offload goods for Raw Materials (RM)
  • Support Stores and Maintenance teams with offloading deliveries
  • Support Production with RM deliveries to plants
  • Move steam out pots
  • Deliver nitrogen crates and single nitrogen bottles from Labs to the trailer park
  • Manage pallet collections daily at 1 PM
  • Collect and remove pallets daily
  • Top up demineralised water once or twice a week
  • Check and top up diesel weekly
  • Keep Frac 1 & 2 base areas tidy
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the RM warehouse
  • Handle Kenolube-related tasks as required
  • Perform any other duties as directed by the Team Leader or Site Manager

Requirements:

  • Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach preferred)
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a warehouse or industrial environment
  • Strong awareness of health and safety practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
