Green Dot Labs is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flower Specialist to support day-to-day cultivation operations within our flowering rooms. This role is responsible for maintaining plant health, supporting production quality, and ensuring cultivation activities are executed consistently and efficiently within a regulated production environment. Working closely with Cultivation leadership, this position supports all aspects of flowering plant care, production tracking, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), facility upkeep, and compliance-related processes. This is a hands-on cultivation role that contributes directly to product quality, operational consistency, and overall cultivation performance.
Job Responsibility
Support flowering-stage cultivation activities including feeding, pruning, training, transplanting, and general plant care
Monitor plant health and escalate concerns related to plant condition, timing, or environmental issues
Execute Integrated Pest Management (IPM) procedures in accordance with established processes
Maintain accurate production logs and cultivation records, including daily checklists and maintenance tracking
Support harvesting and cultivation workflow activities as directed by leadership
Cross-train and provide operational support across cultivation departments and facilities as needed
Maintain clean, organized, and compliant cultivation and workspace environments
Assist with sanitation, waste handling, and destruction of plant waste in accordance with operational procedures
Support general facility maintenance tasks and operational projects as assigned
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including operational startup and shutdown tasks
Attend required safety, compliance, and operational trainings
Utilize systems such as Metrc in accordance with company procedures and compliance requirements
Ensure compliance with all City, County and State Regulations including, but not limited to the MED's Current & Permanent Marijuana Rules for Licensed Premise, RMCF, Transport & Storage, Business Records, Labeling, Packaging & Safety, Testing etc.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Prior experience cultivating cannabis preferred
Familiarity with agricultural or horticultural practices and systems preferred
Must have and maintain an active MED Badge, or be eligible and willing to obtain one prior to employment
Must be able to pass background investigation for the State of Colorado and the City of Boulder
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically active environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to identify problems or equipment issues and escalate appropriately
Reliable transportation required
