Job Description

Green Dot Labs is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flower Specialist to support day-to-day cultivation operations within our flowering rooms. This role is responsible for maintaining plant health, supporting production quality, and ensuring cultivation activities are executed consistently and efficiently within a regulated production environment. Working closely with Cultivation leadership, this position supports all aspects of flowering plant care, production tracking, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), facility upkeep, and compliance-related processes. This is a hands-on cultivation role that contributes directly to product quality, operational consistency, and overall cultivation performance.

Job Responsibility

  • Support flowering-stage cultivation activities including feeding, pruning, training, transplanting, and general plant care
  • Monitor plant health and escalate concerns related to plant condition, timing, or environmental issues
  • Execute Integrated Pest Management (IPM) procedures in accordance with established processes
  • Maintain accurate production logs and cultivation records, including daily checklists and maintenance tracking
  • Support harvesting and cultivation workflow activities as directed by leadership
  • Cross-train and provide operational support across cultivation departments and facilities as needed
  • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant cultivation and workspace environments
  • Assist with sanitation, waste handling, and destruction of plant waste in accordance with operational procedures
  • Support general facility maintenance tasks and operational projects as assigned
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including operational startup and shutdown tasks
  • Attend required safety, compliance, and operational trainings
  • Utilize systems such as Metrc in accordance with company procedures and compliance requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all City, County and State Regulations including, but not limited to the MED's Current & Permanent Marijuana Rules for Licensed Premise, RMCF, Transport & Storage, Business Records, Labeling, Packaging & Safety, Testing etc.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior experience cultivating cannabis preferred
  • Familiarity with agricultural or horticultural practices and systems preferred
  • Must have and maintain an active MED Badge, or be eligible and willing to obtain one prior to employment
  • Must be able to pass background investigation for the State of Colorado and the City of Boulder
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically active environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to identify problems or equipment issues and escalate appropriately
  • Reliable transportation required
