Within the Systems Engineering Group, attached to the Flow Assurance Discipline, you will be responsible for performing thermo-hydraulic analysis and thermal design of subsea equipment to meet the production requirements of our most challenging projects. Understanding of production and export systems, operating philosophies, and thermal management is preferred. You will in most instances work embedded in a multidisciplinary project environment where communication with other discipline engineers is key to project success.
Job Responsibility:
Perform detailed thermo-hydraulic analysis to validate the subsea system design and subsea equipment performance considering project requirements and constraints from other disciplines
Perform detail thermal analysis to assess the level of thermal insulation needed on the subsea equipment
Develop and analyze engineering solutions to specific job requirements
Write design reports & operating philosophies
Understand client and internal project needs, identify design parameters and issues, develop and implement solutions
Support a technical interface with internal and external stakeholders in flow assurance related topics
Develop tools and processes to improve ways of working, facilitate technology implementation and promote knowledge cross-fertilization with other functions/disciplines
Be involved in R&D programs to defined and support the development of new products and technologies
Supervising and supporting (training, sharing knowledge…) other Flow Assurance Engineer within the Flow Assurance Discipline
Requirements:
Engineer or scientist with at least 8 years experience in fluid mechanical / energy we’re looking for you to have: Solid understanding of multiphase flow & heat transfer analysis within Oil & Gas environment
Solid knowledge in using CFD/FEA simulators (Fluent, Star CCM+)
Knowledge of insulation materials and coating for subsea equipment would be greatly appreciate
Understanding of key flow assurance related issues
