Job Description:

We are looking for a Flow Assurance Leader for one of our clients with the following details: Location: Paris, France during Engineering phase then Afungi - Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. Planned Start Date: to be confirm. Duration: 12 months. Work Scheme: Residential in France and Rotational 28 days ON and 28 days OFF in Mozambique.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead all Flow Assurance (FA) studies including simulation, forecasting, and production optimization
  • Develop and maintain Flow Assurance models integrating reservoir, PVT, and well performance data
  • Prepare and maintain Flow Assurance Dossier and Flow Assurance Manual in line with Company standards
  • Define start-up sequences and procedures to minimize flaring and ensure safe commissioning
  • Develop operating guidelines from initial fuel gas phase to full LNG train operations (2 trains – 13 MTPA)
  • Monitor production performance and adjust operating procedures based on field data
  • Analyse production shortfalls related to flow assurance and define mitigation and preventive actions
  • Provide troubleshooting support for subsea flow assurance issues
  • Collaborate with Chemical Treatment teams to manage hydrates, wax, scaling, and other flow risks
  • Act as focal point with subsurface teams to ensure production forecasts are achievable within operating constraints
  • Support new developments, HQ studies, and modifications by providing flow assurance input
  • Lead development of SMARTS tool (real-time monitoring and optimization system) with third-party providers
  • Support development of Subsea Operating Tools (OTS, OCWT)
  • Contribute to digital solutions for KPI monitoring, production optimization, and forecasting
  • Ensure continuous communication with HQ Flow Assurance specialists and provide technical feedback
  • Develop and deliver training materials for operations and production teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years' experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
  • At least 10 years of experience in Flow Assurance
  • Experience in LNG projects is a strong advantage
  • Experience in subsea production systems and operations
  • Strong expertise in Flow Assurance and multiphase flow simulations
  • Proficiency in simulation tools: Pro/II, OLGA, PVTSim
  • Good understanding of subsea production systems and production chemistry
  • Experience with real-time monitoring and digital optimization tools is a plus
  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, or Applied Sciences, or equivalent
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
  • Well-organized and methodical approach
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments

Nice to have:

  • Experience in LNG projects
  • Experience with real-time monitoring and digital optimization tools
