Requirements

1 year of relevant experience in industrial or commercial cleaning with experience stripping, waxing, extraction, and operation specialty cleaning equipment
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility/security credentials/authorization
US citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location
Repetitive motions: bend, stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach and wrist movement
Walk extensively throughout the plant during shift
Regularly lift up to 30 lbs
Work at an accelerated pace in emergency conditions
Ability to differentiate colors pertaining to color coded cleaning microfiber clothes and mops
Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed
Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment

Job Responsibility

Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities
Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash
Drive ride on scrubber to scrub aisleways
Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc
Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned
Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
Utilizes ladders, dusts and washes furniture, walls, blinds and select equipment
