Job Description:

Baptist is looking to add a Floor Technician Finisher to join our Environmental Services team. The Floor Technician Finisher is responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Baptist is proud to utilize state of the art UV Disinfection Technology via UV Robotic Machines. These machines break down the DNA of germs in the hospital environment before manual cleaning of an area is performed, keeping our team members and patients better protected.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Performing major floor cleaning and refreshing throughout the medical center
  • Performing all Environmental Services-related tasks
  • Performing heavier cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods
  • Maintaining assigned equipment for cleanliness and recommending repairs as needed
  • Performing all other tasks which may be assigned

Requirements:

  • 3-5 Years Housekeeping Experience
  • 1-2 years Floor Finishing Experience
  • 1-2 years Hospital Experience

Nice to have:

High School Diploma/GED
