Job Description

The Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River is looking for a motivated and energetic Housekeeping Supervisor to service the Floors, who shares a passion for providing excellent service. The Floor Supervisor is an essential member of the Rooms Division team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Housekeeping team works tirelessly behind the scenes making sure that every Guest Room and Public Area is impeccable at all times. This position is a step into Management, and should be for an individual who would like to grow.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure all guest rooms meet the highest standards as set by Four Seasons Hotels
  • Oversee both Room Attendants and Houseman working on the floors conducting detailed inspections of their work
  • Keep all linen closets neat, cleaned and stocked
  • Inspect rooms daily, including check-out, vacant and make-up rooms for cleanliness and that rooms are defect free
  • Inspect all VIP rooms prior to arrival
  • Report maintenance deficiencies that require immediate attention and follow up on their status
  • Ensure that all vacant/clean rooms and stay over rooms status have been updated
  • Ensure proper care and use of equipment, carts, baskets, cleaning and guest room supplies
  • Ensure that all Lost and Found items are forwarded to the Lost and Found Department according to Four Seasons Hotel
  • Personally conduct training as required and on a regular basis and monitor the implementation and progress of training programs on their effectiveness
  • Conduct and evaluate performance review on a regular basis
  • Report to the Assistant Director of Housekeeping – Guest Floor any loss or damage of furniture, fixture or equipment
  • Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Public Area Attendant, Room Attendant and House Attendant

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Housekeeping management capacity
  • Firm knowledge of hotel operations
  • Speak, read, and write Thai
  • Fluent in English
  • Right to work in Thailand
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Comfortable around chemicals and machines with ability to learn their operation
  • English communication ability with good written and spoken English skills
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office
  • Ability to use property management systems such as Opera systems, HotSos systems
  • Strong training and supervisory skills
  • Able to work in all shifts
