Job Description:

The Floor Manager role involves overseeing housekeeping operations, ensuring quality standards are met for guest rooms and public areas, and managing daily activities collaboratively with other departments. Additional responsibilities include staff hiring, training, and evaluation while adhering to safety policies and maintaining a positive work environment.

Job Responsibility:

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards
run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms
manage daily activities in coordination with other departments
prepare and communicate changes in room assignments
assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
ensure adherence to safety and security policies
welcome and address guest needs professionally
maintain confidentiality of company information
ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and pulling housekeeping carts
operate computers or POS systems to locate work-related information
perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
at least 1 year of supervisory experience
