Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Floor Care Technician to join our team at Rosewood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a 142-bed facility located in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania. As a trusted provider of senior care, we are committed to delivering exceptional resident experiences and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

Job Responsibility

Perform routine floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment, such as carpet cleaners and extractors, to ensure efficient and effective cleaning processes
Restock supplies and restrooms as needed to maintain a seamless resident experience
Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained
Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the facility management team
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve our services and processes

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
The ability to work in a healthcare environment with professional and appropriate conduct
