Job Description:

The Clinical Support Tech 1 is a staff position responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the licensed healthcare practitioner. The Clinical Support Tech 1 works in close collaboration with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to provide safe and quality patient care and are a valued member of the patient care team. Job requires patient check-in through use of manual/paper or digital solution. In some cases and as necessary, role offers support to any registration related transactions including point of service collections.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the licensed healthcare practitioner
  • Works in close collaboration with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to provide safe and quality patient care
  • Patient check-in through use of manual/paper or digital solution
  • Support to any registration related transactions including point of service collections
  • Travel to various assigned locations

Requirements:

  • High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper
  • Registered Medical Assistant
  • Basic Life Support
  • Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Emergency Medical Technician
  • AAMA Certified Medical Assistant
  • Paramedic
  • Paramedic no experience required, EMT, CNA or MA with 2 years of BHSF experience

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Bilingual – English and Spanish
