Job Description

The Flights Consultant will be responsible for managing and booking all air travel for their travel trade clients offering the highest levels of customer service.

Job Responsibility

  • Book and manage flight reservations for clients
  • Coordinate group air blocks as well as individual bookings, depending on customer needs
  • Managing flight cancellations and schedule changes, ensuring timely rebooking and clear communication to all clients

Requirements

  • Experience booking flights in a travel agency, tour operator, or similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of GDS systems - Galileo or Amadeus
  • Excellent knowledge of net fares, seat only, ITX and published fares
  • Experience in exchanges, refunds, schedule changes, manual fare builds etc
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A customer-first mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented attitude

  • Build a customer base of new and returning customers from regular domestic bookings to lavish international holidays and everything in between
  • Be the expert! Assist our customers with their travel related questions including visas, best time of year to travel, what to pack, where to eat, what to avoid, you name it!
  • Enjoy a base wage plus an uncapped incentive payment structure where you earn a percentage of every sale, your pay is completely uncapped!
