Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking Associate or Experienced Flight Line Shipside Analysts (Level 2 or 3) to support the 787 Program Delivery Center Operations Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on a Variable Shift! This position will provide critical production support to the Delivery Center including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality.

Job Responsibility:

  • Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
  • Analyzes and interprets data
  • Provides feedback on assessment results
  • Assist organizations in identifying reoccurring and high impact issues
  • Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address reoccurring and high impact issues
  • Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items
  • Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates

Requirements:

  • Ability to work any shift, overtime, holidays and weekends
  • 1+ years’ experience with operations analysis or research
  • 1+ years’ experience with root cause corrective analysis
  • 1+ years’ experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice to have:

  • 3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience
  • 5+ years Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a supportive LSCC role
  • 1+ years of experience flight line operations
  • 1+ year of experience working with customers
  • Proficient in using CMES software
  • Proficient in REDARS, PSDS, and BAC specifications
