Marriott International is one of the largest travel companies, with a portfolio of more than 30 brands across a diverse set of lodging segments—from traditional hotels to cabins in the woods. As the FLEX Sr. Manager, Digital Commercial Strategy & Performance, you will apply a scalable, data-driven approach to diagnose opportunities, shape Digital roadmap priorities, and execute differentiated product strategies across underperforming, emerging, and at-risk segments. You will partner closely with Analytics, Digital Product, UX, Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Continent leadership, and hotel/ownership stakeholders to rally teams around the highest-impact initiatives for each segment.
Partner with the Digital Analytics and Topline Performance teams to identify micro-trends and performance gaps by property/product segment
surface root causes and prioritize opportunities that restore commercial health
Establish repeatable segment health monitoring (KPIs, early-warning indicators, performance narratives) to proactively identify emerging and at-risk segments before issues scale
Translate performance insights into a clear set of “what’s happening / why / what we’ll do” recommendations that can be understood by both Digital and Commercial leaders
Build integrated, data-driven recovery plans with commercial partners
Partner with hotel leadership/owners, Sales, Marketing, and Revenue leaders to develop integrated Digital performance recovery plans for underperforming segments—aligning demand generation, conversion optimization, and channel strategy into a single plan of record
Influence Digital roadmap prioritization & drive execution
Advocate cross-functionally to secure prioritization for the highest-impact opportunities
Work directly with Digital product squads to translate plans into epics/features, define outcomes, and drive sequencing toward measurable performance improvements
Identify where scalable platform capabilities (vs. one-off fixes) can solve common needs across the portfolio
Help align Digital Product squads around common commercial outcomes and a unified focus, reducing siloed discussions and turning insights into coordinated execution
Serve as Digital’s strategic advisor within Marriott’s Commercial Strategy
Present performance narratives, insights, and action plans with clarity, accountability, and commercial credibility

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Hospitality, Economics, or related discipline
5+ years experience in digital commerce, digital strategy, performance optimization, or commercial strategy within a matrixed organization
Demonstrated ability to use data to diagnose business performance issues and translate findings into prioritized actions that drive outcomes
Strong cross-functional leadership skills: ability to influence without authority, align stakeholders, and drive decisions amid competing priorities and time constraints
Exceptional communication and executive-ready storytelling: comfortable presenting to senior leaders and hotel leadership with clarity and accountability

Hospitality, travel, or portfolio experiences—especially across diverse product segments (e.g., midscale, longer stays, outdoor/unique lodging, luxury)
Experience building segment-level performance playbooks and scaling repeatable solutions across multiple products, brands, or markets
Familiarity with Digital product operating models (Agile/SAFe), and experience partnering with product squads to convert strategy into roadmap delivery
Strong working knowledge of digital funnel metrics and experimentation/optimization approaches (e.g., conversion rate optimization, landing page performance, merchandising effectiveness, traffic quality)
