Job Description

This is a temporary position. At Marriott International, the MDS Velocity Team is our high-impact digital marketing taskforce—designed to move fast, think smart, and deliver real results. Agile, focused, and outcome-driven, they are the go-to team for turning digital challenges into measurable wins. The Sr. Digital Analyst, MDS Velocity Team is responsible for managing and executing assigned initiatives. The Velocity Team supports all departments within Marriott Digital Services (MDS) by delivering short-term, one-time initiatives that drive direct client impact on MDS enrollments. This role is accountable for pacing work appropriately to meet deadlines and communicating progress to key stakeholders. The Sr. Digital Analyst is expected to remain current on MDS Programs and Products, guidelines, best practices, and enterprise initiatives. While maintaining a broad understanding of the business, this individual also serves as a subject matter expert in designated focus areas and regularly liaises with related product, program, and business owners. This position reports to the Director, MDS Case Management. Marriott Digital Services is an in-house digital services team. MDS provides hotels with a variety of digital and marketing services, and functions as an agency-like model within the Global Digital organization.

  • Informing, updating, and providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates
  • Generating and providing accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
  • Presenting ideas, expectations and information in a concise, organized manner
  • Providing timely, accurate, and detailed status reports
  • Tracking delivery against set digital key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Establishing and maintaining complete and up-to-date information to ensure accurate reporting
  • Managing deliverables within expected timelines
  • Producing high-quality deliverables that align with brand standards and quality expectations
  • Reviewing deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and quality before client or stakeholder delivery
  • Making strategic recommendations for additional services/tactics to enhance programs
  • Continual education and self-growth through reading industry blogs, white papers, case studies, research briefs, etc.
  • Attending relevant industry conferences, training and seminars
  • Performing other reasonable duties, such as special projects
  • Using problem solving methodology for decision making and follow up

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field
  • 1-2+ years of relevant work experience (digital marketing, content management, communications, etc.)
  • High attention to detail and accountability
  • Solid understanding of using spreadsheets and Microsoft Office
