We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for the Loyalty Replatforming Initiative, a multi-year transformation effort modernizing Marriott Bonvoy’s loyalty systems. This role will be pivotal in driving Agile excellence across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with program increments (PIs), and enabling seamless coordination between engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives
Guide teams through Agile best practices, fostering continuous improvement and delivery excellence
Track sprint velocity, manage burn-down charts, and ensure delivery against PI commitments
Collaborate with engineering leads to resolve technical blockers and align on architecture decisions
Drive risk identification and mitigation strategies across the Loyalty Release Train
Partner with Product Owners and Business Analysts to maintain a prioritized and refined backlog
Represent the team in Scrum of Scrums and PI Planning sessions
Maintain Agile dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in enterprise software development
Nice to have:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
Understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and DevOps practices
