The Manager, Inventory & Pricing Execution, as part of the Channel Revenue & Optimization team, is responsible for maintaining hotel configurations, room type inventory, and rate offers supporting dedicated portfolio of hotels as part of Marriott’s Growth Initiatives like MGM Resorts and Trailborn. The system platforms include Marriott’s leading suite of Revenue Management solutions including High-Performance Pricing (HPP), MARSHA, MarRFP, and Loyalty Redemption capabilities within One Yield. This role executes audits and error handling support between Marriott’s current and future central reservation systems and Connectivity Partners. This includes assisting the Senior Manager with communications to the affiliation hotels dedicated to this connectivity solution and their hotel operations, revenue management, and distribution partners. This role will also act as a system subject matter expert and share user feedback with our Revenue Management, Reservation, Global Technology, and Distribution Product Owners. Supports team operations, ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided. Represents team in resolving complex situations. Manages the flow of and directs questions.
Job Responsibility:
Maintains MARSHA VSSM sell strategies, House Deposit, Cancellation, and Guarantee Policies, and Room Types throughout Marriott’s Revenue Management systems
Processes rate loading requests for new offers, policy changes, and updates to value added messaging
Tracks and informs Senior Manager, Connectivity, and hotel partners of all configuration updates to the Marriott Revenue Management systems impacting the connectivity solution
Ensures all rate offers are set up to mirror the rate distribution, policies, and availability throughout Marriott’s Revenue Management systems to maintain rate parity between Marriott’s channels and the direct channels of the hotel partners
Conducts regular audits as well as ad hoc audits as directed by the leadership team
Research daily error log reports and takes appropriate action to correct in the Marriott systems and engage hotel partners for error resolution, if necessary
Acts as system and subject matter expert for Global Technology support teams to isolate potential root causes for escalated connectivity failures
Identifies and resolves incidents as they arise and working closely with the Senior Manager, Inventory & Pricing Execution
Support to assist with documentation when required
Updates flexible room counts at hotels when inventory changes are completed or when hotel partners complete renovations
Monitors and maintain email mailbox
Coordinates and implements work and projects as assigned
Comply with Federal and State laws applying to procedures
Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems in conjunction with existing system and technical knowledge
Informs, updates, and provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and external hotel partners by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person in a timely manner
Attends and actively participates in all relevant meetings
Presents ideas, expectations, and information in a clear, concise, and organized manner

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED and 3 years’ experience in business, revenue management, or related professional area
Experience with Marriott International’s Transient strategies
Attention to detail and strong organizations skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Proven track record of excellent listening skills and willing to encourage ideas and resolve conflict in a positive manner
Nice to have:
Lodging/hospitality industry experience across full service/ and luxury brands
Experience with Content and Asset Management Platforms such as Product Catalog and DAC
Strong understanding of Marriott’s Loyalty redemption strategy, terms and conditions, in terms of availability and HPP configuration
Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with associates having business or technical backgrounds
Demonstrates ability to deliver results under challenging and complex conditions
