Job Description:

The Revenue Management Director is a critical member of the revenue management and deployment teams responsible for facilitating revenue management workshops and supporting the successful setup and validation of the Amadeus Central Reservation System (ACRS) prior to property go-live. This role combines deep expertise in hotel revenue management with advanced training delivery skills, ensuring that Revenue Managers are fully prepared to optimize ACRS functionality and drive revenue performance from day one.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead multi-day, remote interactive Revenue Management workshops for Revenue Managers, using standardized facilitation materials and best practices
  • Deliver engaging, hands-on training sessions covering ACRS configuration, data migration, rate plan setup, inventory management, and policy validation
  • Guide participants through practical exercises, knowledge checks, and system demonstrations to ensure comprehension and readiness
  • Adapt facilitation style to accommodate diverse learning needs and property types
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on ACRS modules, including rate plans, price plans, inventory types, and non-room product configuration
  • Support Revenue Managers in validating migrated data, identifying gaps, and completing manual configurations as required
  • Provide guidance on best practices for rate plan mapping, policy assignment, and inventory categorization
  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate system or process barriers as needed
  • Act as a trusted advisor to property leaders, revenue managers, and deployment teams
  • Communicate complex system concepts in clear, actionable terms
  • Gather feedback from early adopters and share insights into improving future workshops and deployment processes
  • Foster a collaborative, supportive learning environment
  • Utilize and continuously refine workshop facilitation materials, participant guides, and job aids
  • Knowledge of the Revenue Manager Task List
  • Stay current on ACRS enhancements, revenue management trends, and training methodologies
  • Contribute to the development of new learning content and process documentation

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university
  • 10+ years of hotel or travel industry revenue management or related experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in a leadership or SME role
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training or workshops to adult learners
  • Deep knowledge of central reservation systems and/or Revenue Management systems and/or hotel property management processes
  • Ability to travel if needed for workshop delivery
  • Experience with large-scale system deployments or property conversions
  • Certification in adult learning, instructional design, or facilitation
  • Change management or project management credentials
  • Demonstrated ability to create RM Workshops Facilitation Materials (slide decks, participant guides, activity sheets)
  • Experience with Technology tools: Amadeus CRS and related reporting tools, ServiceNow/Power of M ticketing for configuration support, Product Catalog and Land-It task management systems
